Unplug your laptop! Using your laptop while it is plugged in is fine and its something we all do. However leaving it plugged in all the time will eventually damage the battery due to overcharging. This can normally be avoided by only plugging in the laptop when it needs a charge somewhere between 1% and 10%. By not discharging a significant portion of the battery’s charge before recharging it you can over time damage the battery’s ability to reach a full 100% charge. This can apply to not only your laptop but most batteries used in sensitive electronics such as tablets, phones, smart watches, etc..
